I wanted to take a moment to tell you one last time how much I have loved being your child’s teacher this year. This is a very special group of students. I have loved them and I will miss them. Mrs. Crow
Now that we have wrapped up CRCT, we will be completing some fun activities! Tomorrow we will do a short study of chocolate as a tie in to our study of Latin America earlier this year. Next week, we will be showing off our art skills by making an ABC for all that we have learned. Although summer is quickly approaching, I hope all students will remain focused in these last few weeks. I can’t believe they are almost 7th graders!
Hello everyone! We will continue CRCT on Tuesday with Science and Social Studies on Wednesday. Thank you for having your children at school each day of testing well rested. Breakfast will be free on each day of testing. I am excited to receive the scores in a few weeks to show the children how well they performed!
We have one more week to review before CRCT begins on April 22. The social studies portion will be on Wednesday, April 30.
Only one more week till your students can enjoy a well deserved break! We have also just completed the first week of the last 9 weeks of school for this year. It has flown by for me! This week will be wrapping up our study of economic and government systems of Europe. Our test will be on Friday, March 28.
We hope everyone will be able to come to our school on Tuesday, March 18 for our Chili cook off and Multi-cultural night. It will be an evening of food and enjoying what our students have been learning about this year in social studies. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Hello families and students. This week we will take the assessment for European History. There will be an assessment sent home on Wednesday, March 12, concerning the Cold War. It will be due no later than Monday, March 17. We will begin a study guide for Friday’s test on Wednesday also. Monday and Tuesday will find us using children’s literature to assist in our learning. Be sure you ask your child if they liked the books. Monday’s book is a particular favorite of mine.
