Hi, parents! We’ve decided to modify the snack/water donation plan slightly. We are still asking that you donate snacks items for our athletes, but it does not have to be on a scheduled meet basis. Feel free to send in crackers, granola bars, etc. whenever and a snack box will be kept filled and a notification will be sent when more supplies are needed. And instead of bottled water, we will be carrying a water cooler and a Gatorade cooler to each meet, so donations of Gatorade mix would be greatly appreciated.

Our first meet is just around the corner and it would be extremely beneficial to our athletes if water and light snacks could be provided for them (instead of concession stand food at invitationals or no snacks at all during smaller weekday meets).
Please select meet dates that you would be available to attend and donate water and/or snacks OR you could donate the water and/or snack items prior to the meet date if unable to attend. After receiving the necessary info, we will be able to provide you with a number of dates to provide your donations. The more parents that are involved, the more evenly we can distribute the responsibility, resulting in a less expensive situation for everyone. The ultimate goal is to ensure the athletes have healthy snack options and stay hydrated.

No school this Friday or Monday, but if your child can attend practice Monday, February 20, please allow them to do so – regular time and pick-up

Athletes have recently received new warm-ups (hoodies and sweats). They are encouraged to wear their warm-up at practice and the track meets. The coaching staff will be collecting these outfits at the conclusion of the 2012 track season, so keeping them in good condition is important.
